Both pharmacies are operated by Clive and Kerry Scotney who moved to Hervey Bay from South Africa in 2000. In 2003 they purchased the Beachside Pharmacy and in 2007 added the Kawungan Plaza Pharmacy to their business. Clive is a graduate of Rhodes University in South Africa and requalified to practice pharmacy in Australia soon after moving here. Clive's special interests are in aged care, diabetes and cholesterol management, weight loss and arthritis care and you will usually find Clive behind the counter at the Beachside Pharmacy. Kerry is a registered nurse who moves between both pharmacies. Kerry's special interests are in aged care and diabetes management. When not work both Clive and Kerry enjoy all the great outdoor pastimes that Hervey Bay has to offer. |

Kirsty Richards is the resident pharmacist at the Kawungan Plaza Pharmacy. She's a graduate of Charles Sturt University and has extensive experience in both community and hospital pharmacies. Kirsty's special interests are in aged care, Nursing Home medication reviews, home medication reviews and Webster packing and her passion is in wound management. |
